We are using an infrared lap counting system manufactured by I-Lap. Since we installed this system it has worked flawlessly. The only glitch was when the computer would go into sleep mode and reboot the lap counting system. The software for counting is a free program that many tracks use.  This system seems to be as good as the AMBrc system but uses different technology. They both use the same software but the transponders are NOT interchangeable. We went this route to help keep costs down for the racers.  Cost on the I-Lap transponder is $42.00 compared to the AMBrc transponder which is over $100.00 now. These will be required for racing. We have shop transponders available but we encourage racers to purchase a personal transponder as it makes it a lot easier to register your vehicle. Shop transponders will be handed out before each heat and must be turned in following that heat. You may purchase them at the shop or order online at www.evolutionhobbies.com. 

2010 Fees

Entry fee for first vehicle:  $15.00
Second vehicle(same driver):  $8.00
Special cash races:  $15.00(prizes determined by racer entries)

Payouts

At the present time we offer a "Speed Cash" coupon that can be used in our shop just like cash.(NO actual cash value) You may accumulate these for up to 60 days in order to apply to larger purchases. The payout is based on the number of drivers and is paid to three positions. There must be at least 4 drivers in the class to pay out to 3 spots, if less than four only first place will receive a Speed Cash voucher. The payouts for this year are as follows: These may increase next year as we have more drivers racing with us.

A-Main
1st place  $6.00
2nd place  $4.50
3rd place  $3.00

Schedule
We will re-open the track on June 4th, 2010@ 6:00PM(weather permitting) for Friday evening racing(electrics only) and May 2nd @ 12PM for Sunday racing(nitro & electric). Nitro vehicles must be ready for a transponder, we will NOT hand count nitro vehicles. In most cases it will be just adding a wye connector. If you are a NEW racer with us we have track transponders for your use. This year you MUST sign in and register BEFORE going on the track.

  Friday evenings: ELECTRICS only, all classes, track opens at 4PM, racing will begin promptly at 6:00PM

Sundays: ALL vehicles, Nitro & electric, all scales. We require 3 vehicles
minimum to make a class. If not , we will combine classes to make a main.
Track will open at 11AM and racing will start promptly at
 noon and continue until we are finished. Nitro vehicles will be
required to have a pipe/muffler. We may add additional race dates if needed.
